KinnerLat is LatAm’s Annual Kinnernet Unconference. As we’ve done annually since 2016, from February 23rd to 27th we’re gathering a carefully curated group of leaders, innovators, creators and influencers in Panama. After a kick-off reception in Panama City’s UNESCO World Heritage San Felipe District on the evening of Monday 23rd, we’ll move early on the 24th to fabled volcanic caldera of El Valle de Antón.
In the original spirit of Yossi Vardi Unconferences* (now 20 yrs and 100+ gatherings- strong), we’ll gather in a “camp atmosphere” to share, explore, and expand on ideas, ventures, and projects. Everyone may, and is encouraged, to lead or contribute to discussions on topics (of any nature).
Once again we’ll strive to do so with a Gifting Spirit and armed with lots of Radical Curiosity.
Our Organizers, starting with Yossi himself, are once again working on a volunteer, not-for-profit basis, contributing their time and lots more.

EL VALLE DE ANTÓN
El Valle de Antón Commonly known simply as “El Valle”, it is a picturesque valley & mountain town located in the province of Coclé, Panama, approximately two hours west of Panama City. It is famously situated within the 6 km-wide caldera of an extinct volcano, making it the largest inhabited volcanic crater in the world. Because it sits about 600 meters above sea level, the area enjoys a mild, spring-like microclimate year-round, offering a refreshing escape from the tropical heat and humidity of the lowlands. El Valle is a premier destination for eco-tourism, surrounded by lush rainforests, cloud forests, and dramatic mountain ridges that form the crater’s edge.
It is renowned for its diverse biodiversity, serving as one of the last habitats for the critically endangered Panamanian golden frog and home to more than 350 bird species. Visitors often explore the area’s numerous natural attractions, including the 35-meter Chorro El Macho waterfall, therapeutic hot springs enriched with volcanic minerals, and a unique grove of trees with square trunks.
In addition to its natural wonders, El Valle features a vibrant local culture centered around its famous daily market, where artisans sell traditional Panamanian handicrafts, fresh organic produce, and flowers. The town offers a tranquil atmosphere with a mix of cozy inns, boutique hotels, and restaurants serving both local and international cuisine. For those seeking adventure, the surrounding peaks—such as La India Dormida and Cerro Gaital—provide challenging hiking trails with panoramic views of the entire valley and, on clear days, the Pacific Ocean.
