By accepting my invitation and securing my space at KinnerLat25 (KNL25), via a $600 event fee payment, I confirm the following:

I acknowledge that KNL25 is an event organized by its participants, where each participant is responsible for the contents and activities included therein and that an integral part of KNL25 is the use of Equipment (as defined in Section 2 below), which may be deemed by participants in KNL25 as necessary or desirable for the organization thereof;

In connection with my participation in KNL25 and/or in any event included therein and/or related thereto and the use, by myself and/or by others, of any of my private equipment, merchandise or my other resources, or with equipment, merchandise or resources of others (jointly referred to herein as ‘Equipment”), I hereby exempt and release the persons who may be deemed “Organizers” or managers of KNL25, its operators, its participants, advisors, managers, financiers, sponsors, hosts and/or suppliers, and any of their employees or contractors, and/or any other person involved in any capacity therein, from any and all liability and/or responsibility for any personal injury and/or damage and/or loss incurred by me and/or by anyone on my behalf or anyone related to me, and I hereby waive any claim in such respect, including without limitation damages to my Equipment.

I hereby confirm my free and willing consent to completely release and exempt, without limitation, any person who may be deemed to be liable and/or responsible toward me and/or to anyone on my behalf for any reason whatsoever, with regard to my participation in KNL25 or to any Equipment.

Without derogating from the above: (i) by participating in any event related to KNL25 I represent that I have the requisite skill and experience to participate in any such event; (ii) I acknowledge that participating and/or watching the events related to KNL25 may involve risks and I will refrain from participating in any such event for which I do not have such requisite skill and experience, or for which I do not take full responsibility for my participation or watching; (iii) with respect to any activity organized or initiated by me and/or any use of any Equipment I bring to KNL25, I represent and undertake that any such activity and any such use shall be carried out in a careful manner and in accordance with applicable law (including without limitation all safety laws and regulations) (iv) I will be solely responsible for guarding all the Equipment I bring to KNL25 from being stolen, damaged, broken, misused ,etc. ; (v) I undertake to use third party Equipment in a way that will not cause any personal injury and/or damage and/or loss to me and/or to anyone else ; and (vi) I will be solely responsible for any personal injury causes by me to myself and/or to others as a result of my participation in the event’s activities. 

I acknowledge that KNL25 will take place at OCIO Villas and I hereby agree to take all measures not to damage any properties and to treat them with great care and consideration and I engage my responsibility in case of deterioration of which I shall be originally cause and make a commitment to assure the completeness of the reimbursement of expenses caused by any repair. 

I acknowledge that in case of cancellation due to force majeure or due to any other reason outside the control of the Organizers, the Organizers will not be responsible for the costs I sustain in relation to my travel and participation in the event.  By paying the participation fee, I understand that this fee is non refundable, although name changes (subject to approval by the Organizers) are allowed up until one week before the event.

Unless an exemption is requested in writing, KNL25 reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at the event, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. 

It was made clear to me that my participation in KNL25 is conditional upon my agreement to all of the terms of this Release & Waiver Letter, and the consent of the Organizers to allow my participation, as well as the use of my Equipment, are and have always been subject to the full and complete exemption and release as set forth above.

Therefore, by my acceptance of this Release & Waiver Letter, I confirm and agree to the release, exemption and waiver detailed above, and undertake not to act in contradiction to this Release & Waiver Letter, and to fully indemnify any person that shall suffer any damages as a result of any action on my behalf in contradiction to this Release & Waiver Letter.
